While Visual Studio is going 64-bit, this doesn’t change the types or bitness of the applications you build with Visual Studio. Visual Studio will continue to be a great tool for building 32-bit apps. I find it really satisfying to watch this video of Visual Studio scaling up to use the additional memory that’s available to a 64-bit process.
